Terrain Earth Projects is a company based in the West Rand. It’s been registered since 2011 by Mr. Thabo Setidisho, whose is a University of Johannesburg (former Technikon Witwatersrand) graduate and holds a National Diploma in Civil Engineering. The company started only as roof installation team and has since expanded and grown into a supply and installation company for any type of timber structure. Steel carports and thatched roof are also covered by the company. Structural steel is also part of this company, where shop detailing is done inside a controlled environment and detailed shop drawings are drawn, provided a registered professional engineer is consulted to produce drawings.

The manufacture and erections of all roof structures is done in accordance with the relevant SABS codes of practice. This is done under strict factory and site supervision by trained foreman. Only par timber used as a roofing material with SABS face markings as required by the code of practice.

The growth of the company has also extended to alterations of buildings to construction of new homes in accordance with the NHBRC regulations for buildings. Construction of any building will be based on drawings provided by the architect (with the owners impute), in line with all municipal regulations, standards and by-laws. Boundary walls, also falls under the company scope of work. Energy efficient and green materials are used to cater for the environment protection. Only clay stock bricks are used for thermal insulation purpose, face bricks are used where indicated on the plans or at the customer request. Only SABS approved brick are used in all our constructions. All building work and requirements is provided, which means the customer gets a single comprehensive quote.
